In the South West, the produce is fantastic.
I love shooting food from a talented chef who is able to keep focused on the raw ingredients – especially when they are as good as the ones we get down here. Amazing seafood and oysters, grass fed cattle and stonking dairy produce – there is no need to reinvent the wheel when it comes to cooking with such great ingredients.
A while back, I self-published a book celebrating the food of the region with some of the top chefs in the South West UK and I was happy to be called on by The Taste of the West (who has the patron H.R.H. Prince Charles, Prince of Wales) to work on a similar title earlier this year.
A Taste of the West Country is a fantastic collection of mouth-watering and original recipes that have been lovingly created by award winning Taste of the West chefs using award winning produce.
I spent a few weeks driving the length and breadth of the South West, which covers a surprisingly large area, shooting some really tasty looking dishes.
The book is available to purchase directly from Taste of the West by filling out and returning this order form.
